It is possible use bigger heatsink and fan it doens't must fit perfectly, you need to set heatsink litle bit towards to the trailing edge and fan even more so that it is not actually is top of CPU hmm side view like stairs?
This how I did with my Apollo 040 40mhz, it doesn't work without fan more than few minits
