What is SAGE

Standard Amiga Graphics Environment, it is supported by Vivid24 http://www.amiga-resistance.info/bboahfaq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=56&id=2379&artlang=de and DMI Resolver http://www.bboah.com/index.php?sid=84219&lang=en&action=artikel&cat=57&id=2416&artlang=en. Google doesn't tell much about it.

Google tells this: We are the manufacturers of the DMI Resolver, a
high resolution graphics processor for the Amiga. It is based on a 60MHz
Texas Instruments 34010 graphics chip. We (in conjunction with Progressive
Peripherals) are the authors of SAGE (Standard Amiga Graphics Environment), a
retargetable graphics system for the Amiga.


Does somebody has more info? Is it possible to use it display Workbench etc? How powerfull vivid24 is compared to other that time adapters?

Can't find it aminet? Search of Standard Amiga Graphics Environment gives zero results

OK how usefull sage was? Could it promote wb to sage screen? Or other games??? etc
