Checksum Error in the Community!
« on: February 22, 2003, 03:14:45 PM »
I don't post here often but I do view every day and have done for years.  Although I now use a high end PC, I love the Aimga experience ( still have one 1200 working) and await patiently for the new stuff to arrive.  As stated in my earlier post this year I am so disappointed with the negativity surrounding everything Amiga.  In THIS post an Amigan asked a simple question about CHECKSUM and one of the answers contained the word STUPID!

Let's get real and back to basics, a question asked should be answered sensitively according the perceived knowledge of the requestor.  Continuously piss people off and that's where they'll go, elswhere, and your chances of getting an updated system and or hardware becomes even more remote.

Whether this person is new to Amiga or is just now experimenting, try to give constructive advice to them or those who might try to answer in good faith, or shut up and go elwhere.

Well done Aimga Inc, who sometimes (joke) pay Hyperion who are legends.  It's your money!  Now you keep the faith. The Aimga community is worth it despite ill thought responses!
