Actually for an Apple I have seen it run about 2 grad, becasuse you have to buy a monitor also. It doesn't use the same monitor the rest of the world does
Another uninformed person knocking Apple. Gotta love it. Apple does not use any proprietary monitor connection. They have VGA and DVI just like the rest of the world. They also happen to have ADC connectors on their cards which provide USB, Power, and Video through a single cable. Pretty slick.
Also, even a $799 G4 eMac (not even close to 2 grand) is as powerful as the AmigaOne hardware that's available and OS X will run great on it.
Not trying to convince you of anything - just don't discount your options until you have the facts.
