Okay, so Aminet has gone retro style now... :-(

I think it was better before the change. Readability is suffering from the low contrast between orange and blue. By the way, the platform icons are missing.

 I'd really appreciate to get the red/white/gray design back, perhaps with retro style as an option for "advanced" users (using browser cookies).

So now it's better in Firefox... but it's hard to read that tiny text. Bad idea to use a non-proportional font.

Then trying InternetExplorer6... even worse. Huge font, the round black circles in the left menu are shown as rectangles, and the tables with text are aligned way too high (so the borders of the directory windows and the "Aminet" in the upper left corner are covered).

By the way, the graphical "@" symbol is also missing.

PS: Keeping lots of OS4 software during the last months (and only small amounts of 68k software recently uploaded) how can you say that most Aminet users do use WinUAE? Don't you think that OS4 software developers would like a modern place for publishing their software instead of an old-style looking Aminet?

Joke or not... I'm still shocked

Currently it's almost readable (at least within Firefox), but one thing about the theme: As most classic Amiga users may have used WB1.3 at 640x256 screen mode (no interlace), the window graphics and disk icons should be scaled vertically to double size.

However, tough joke  :-)
