I wouldn't by either at the moment.  The AmigaONE is just a Linux box without OS4, and I'd wait for OS4/A1 reviews before buying a Pegasos.

Both are overpriced compared to an x86 board, although may compare favourably with a Mac.  IIRC the A1 can beat the Pegasos at benchmarks, but the Pegasos II will be better than the Pegasos - but it's not out yet.  Don't count on an OS4 kit for Pegasos - you could very well be disappointed.

So I'd wait around for a bit.  Try out a Pegasos and an A1/OS4 if you can.  And ignore people who tell you to get their solution without any good argument to back them up.  I'm currently waiting, but I've decided on the A1 route myself.

While I think that the PegII will be out "soon" enough to bring it in here, I think that waiting for OS5 is an odd reason to not buy the A1.  Why not wait a few more years untill a computer can emulate the A1 and the Peg brilliantly? :-)

it does not look as fancy as MorphOS does

And MacOS beats them all :-D.  OS4 will be very configurable, and I'd imagine MorphOS is.  Besides, I personally prefer the OS4 look - it's all a matter of preference.

And MorphOS supports MUI!

So does AmigaOS.  The difference is that AmigaOS is based on Reaction, while MorphOS is based on MUI.  MorphOS certainly allows you to confugure MUI more, so I'll put that in it's favour.

You won't be running OS5 on an A1. It's far by obsolete by that time. You'll be running OS5 on ANY computer you want...

As will the Pegasos, PegasosII, today's x86 hardware and today's Macs.  So what?  OS5 currently has no relevence whatsoever to buying an A1 or a Peg.
