I agree with the article completely.  What I'd love to see would be an A1-G3SE Lite style machine, with OS on ROM, and perhaps even A1200/500 style expansion (trapdoor?).  It could even have built in TV-out, for things that don't need the high resolution, and recording straight onto video etc.

Sorry, I was thinking about the OS on any solid-state medium, but kept on thinking about kickstart for some reason :-)

Could you install OS4 onto a CF-card acting as IDE?
