Nope. Amiga licenses and co-ordinates things, but AmigaOS is developed by a company called Hyperion, and Eyetech (a British company) deal with the AmigaOne. There's a small bit about the A1 on Amiga's site
here, but they've never been the best at promotion, and that site concentrates mainly on other aspects of their business.
AmigaOS4 will run on other hardware though - an A1200 or A4000 can be expanded with an accelerator that gives them a PowerPC processor (the new AmigaOS uses the same processors as Macs) but there isn't that much point in buying one if you don't already have a decent "classic" Amiga.
