My A1200 arrived in perfect condition (batch number two) and I am very happy with it. It is incredibly clean and shining white. Cardboard package is pretty good too, considering it is a hundred years old
Actually, I would be quite satisfied if I bought anything brand new today in a store, and it was in this condition.
Works flawlessly too.
I am sure there are some units with some defects, but they are a minority. And a stroke of bad luck, really. If you go out and buy a 100 of brand new computer parts, some of them are bound to have some defect out of the box. So a couple of bad luck experiences should not discourage anyone who wants to buy a new A1200 from Petro.
I am really grateful to Petro for allowing me to have a brand new Amiga computer at this day and age
