The 68010 is only about 10% faster than the 68k at best and introduces a couple of small incompatibilities, Im not sure you will see any kind of benefit at all.
oh yes, and your clock speed will be the same as the 68k as its dictated by an external clock. Its a hardware hack to make the cpu faster while keeping the rest of the hardware at the old speed, and anything that relies on CPU timing will be wrong.
