A Dv camera,  Coz they have perfect freeze whilst playing back and can move forward one frame at a time.  Timed stop motion recording is even possible on a lot of DV cams.  Your'll have to read your manual to see if yours is capable.

Capturing ..

VidiAmiga 24 RT.

Once your captured all the frames you need and altered them how you want ..

You could pull the pix into True Brilliance and make up and anim in that ..

or use Scalas AnimLab.

Cecilia would know if you can build anims in Ifx as I suspect you could automate that process in there.

Depends on how high the compression setting is !!
