Well, as I might be getting one of these modems soon with my DSL service, there will be a bit of an incentive for me to look into making a driver, won't there?  

Let's see which DSL providor I go with first.  Bell South's kinda pricy.

Actually, Earthlink beats that deal by offering static IP.

But that is true about the phone bill.  Need to get the landlord's permission before I get any DSL installed anyways.  

Likely I will be going Bell South, however.
