I had my 1084S monitor fixed at my local TV repair shop Wacketts, here in Newcastle. They knew straight away what was wrong, and had a compatible part. So try your local TV/aerial type repair shop for Commodore monitor repairs.
Power supply bricks are best replaced by a PC power supply and adapter cables from Amigakit for example.
