Thats a term from the 80's when IBM built alot of the x86 hardware.



That's what I was getting at. In any case, I call them IBM's still precisely because I know that even the C=64 was a "personal computer" and said so right on the case. Except, these days, if I say "IBM", people say stuff like "No, it's a Dell." So, I just go with "Windows box" since that's the most accurate terminology that people aren't confused by.
