Merlancia did that a while ago, too. Large fake shipping fees are bad news and mean. Ebay doesn't like it, either.

I emailed him asking if I could pick it up locally and he said that I could but it would be cheaper not to get on a plane from the USA. So, I said I was asking for someone who was in the UK and...

was his reply. This was all by email, but then he posted a reply to my question original question, about local pickup, on his auction after all the email back and forth we did. The answer he put was, "NO". He needs a spanking. :-(
