The lack of Flash support under OWB is annoying, but if I can I download video and run it under Mplayer (which has Flash plugins that work perfectly).
With the
plugin installed OWB does handle some flash content. HTML5 video is preferable for youtube etc. since the overhead is much lower. MPlayer does not have a flash plugin, but with
getvideo you can play the content without flash.
