No idea about this card but could it be a DNS issue? if you try by IP does it work? (
http://www.google.co.uk resolves as
http://209.85.146.147)
Do you get your ip over DHCP? or use a manually configured static address?
If you need to specify a DNS server try OpenDNS Primary 208.67.222.222 Secondary 208.67.220.220
