Is the Prometheus an open-source design?  If it's what I'm thinking of, someone could (in theory) build more of them.

Yeah, it was definitely a "you can build your own but you can't sell them for profit" agreement.

If I had a big-box Amiga (3000/4000) I might look in to giving it a try.
