Over the years I've had a handful of drives pack it in. Lost more DVD players than I'd care to think about, including my beloved 5-disk Apex changer
Nothing like putting the Lord of the Rings trilogy in and watching on a rainy day without having to get up.
I've got old computer gear (and new computer gear) that just goes and goes...it is what it is.
