Ah, Doomy.  Truly, I couldn't be happier that he's gone from the board.

You know, Doomy bought a few items from our eShop without any major problems. The only reason i am bringing it up now is when we were running our going out of business sale, he turned. All of a sudden we were getting bombarded with questions, well questions is putting it midly. More like coarse insults full of 4 letter words. Mentally unstable to say the least. Needless to say he's been flagged to the blocked bidder list.

Buyer/seller beware indeed.

Oh red, you've got to share, man.  Gotta.  Even if they're edited for politeness' sake, you've gotta share!

Yeah, I often find that using 3mm and 4mm screws and bolts makes all the difference to a quality product.

Like I once said before, I have my own experiences of "High quality German engineering", having owned two Wolfsburg built VWs.  One broke down twice, the other threw an expensive mechanical strop every three months (you could actually set your watch by it - how's that for precision engineering?).  Oh, and my brother's (brand new) Osnabruck built VW Corrados broke down twice each...

Not wishing to insult any German readers here, but "Made in Germany" is absolutely no guarantee of reliability.  IIRC Doomy made similar claims about British manufactured products, which anyone who's ever owned or driven a Solihull built Land/Range Rover will no doubt be howling with laughter at too.  Our Blackpool built TVRs carry on a fine tradition of mechanical fragility.

What's that old joke about the British no longer making color (colour for you folks) TVs because they couldn't figure out how to make 'em leak oil... :-D
