I don't blame you, Red. I'd considered launching in to a project with a friend of mine to build (yet another) Coldfire CPU card for all Amigas, complete with connector for an external PCI box. Imagine that! An A1000 at 500mhz and a set of PCI slots. Network, USB, video, sound, SATA card, etc. Drivers would've been built as we went.
At any rate, the number of active, in-use Amigas in the world (forget the U.S.; that number is perhaps a hundred, maybe two hundred) dwindles by the day. No point in pursuing it, when at it's cheapest the whole shebang would've cost $400-$500.
So I totally understand this move.
