The real price of the name, then and now?
« on: November 24, 2003, 07:38:51 PM »
I remember Bill McEwen saying they paid 7 Million $ for the name, but other have commented it was less than $100,000. How much did they really pay Gateway? Seriously?

What about now? If the company gets forced into liquidation which appears highly likely, how much do you think the name will go for?
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Check old Q&A with Fleecy. Amiga name is safe.

TBH I do not take what Fleecy says very seriously.

From years now trolls say Amiga Inc is going into liquidation....... after years Amiga inc. is still here.

Well I base my opinion on public court documentation and Bill McEwen's own deposition. That's not trolling, that's taking an honest look at available evidence. If you have some information to disprove Amiga Inc's dire financial situation I'd be very happy to hear!

I have nothing to gain from AI's demise, I'm just curious to see how things play out.
