it would have been more epic if you were in #amiga instead :D

looks neat though. What features does it have and how is the stability/ease of use

Not my screenshot, though that is a channel I haunt :) The screenshot was done by Shadow(aka GeoShadow), the maker of the program.

It appears to be very easy to use and work good, the TCP/IP stack is included. There are not many features at this time as it is a first release with IRC support, but Shadow is still working on it. There is a C.S.C thread if you are interested.

Wow. Maybe now I have to get hold of a RR+RRNet after all...

And, wow, Vanessa Ezekowitz is still active too (assuming that's her on the IRC screen shot)

If you only need ethernet, the 64nic+ is a cheaper route (when available again).

Vanessa is definately still active, she has been a big help with my tower project. That's her in the screenshot.

The only other option available recently was the MMC Replay with RRNet, those don't seem to be available anymore either, unless I don't know where to look. I got my setup probably 2 years ago now.

Good luck on eBay, those things have been going for top dollar!

Yeah, I don't think any ethernet product is available atm. The best bet would probably be to wait until the 64nic+ is available again, which should be fairly soon. AFAIK the 64nic+ will be sold directly by Jim Brain this time and not through a third party (CCCC) like last time.

The RR-Net is available at Vesalia:
http://www.vesalia.de/d_rrnet.htm

But the MMC Replay / Chameleon / whatever you need aswell seems to be out of stock.

Right, the RR-Net is not stand alone. The new style RR-Net requires an MMC Replay, which is sold out worldwide afaik.

Hey, look at that, GEOS for plus/4, makes that system just slightly less useless, though I believe this particular piece of software is only supposed to work on GEOS64 (unless I imagined hearing that it doesn't work on GEOS128.)

GeoLink for Geos 128 in 80 column mode, or even better Wings 128, would be the cats meow.
