You really going to make me unpack all this and open the case again? Look at the back of the case. There is a barcode sticker right below the silver Commodore sticker.

Well it looks like DJ was right about the motherboard.



Makes the history of this box even more strange, since the case is certainly from C=.



Now checking the books and floppies, they are copyright Escom. Will update the listing. :crazy:

A local AO historian seems to think it was part of the original 200 that was taken over by Escom and rebranded using the original case.

I've considered it and am still considering it. Up to this point I have kept it listed because I have added all the updated information, so there is nothing misleading. Check the listing, it is all there. Also the high bidders for the last couple days are all post-update.

I have had an off-eBay offer of $3,800 so pulling the auction would potentially be more profitable than leaving it.

Nope, look at the sticker on the back of the case. At least the whole case is Commodore.

I've received clarification from the previous owner, so it is official. This 4000T was purchased by the previous owner with a bad motherboard, so he swapped the bad mb with an AT motherboard.
