Strewth!  Now that's what I call a DIY project!

Yeah, no kidding! I started Sunday afternoon and only finished last night, I spent many, many hours at this thing :hammer:

So far here is the score card on this project:
Cuts that bled - 1
Burned by soldering iron - 2

I almost blew up my 1750 on the first test as my power adapter was +12VDC instead of +5VDC  The mistake is fixed and this extension cable has passed tests with multiple expansions, including the SuperCPU 128.

Nice job :-)

I wish I had your energy for doing that sort of thing.

Thanks, I am quite fond of it so far  :-D

As for energy? I have been working on it for 6+ weeks now, I am spreading it out over time and taking my time. It certainly has been a ton of labor, but when I start getting frustrated I walk away for a while. If it takes me another 2 months to finish, so be it.

You could do this, I am hoping others will get the bug to start actively using their own machines or starting projects. IMHO my project is quite ambitious, you don't have to go that extreme. Or of course you could try to one-up me and make an even better project  ;-)
