Just like the £20 megadrive 5-in-1 pads at my local Tesco.  99% of the people who buy them don't want or need anything else, and the other 1%, the "enthusiasts", probably already have a C-One, or an old C64 lying around.

If there was still a market for the C64, or C64 software, then they would still be on sale.  There isn't, so they aren't.  People have moved on.

I wouldn't be so fast to jump to this conclusion..

that Curt Vendel, one of the Atari Flashback dev team, has revealed
that a company in the Netherlands is working on a c64DTV into a
keyboard?

Wow, I didn't know she had another one finished already! Looks like this is C64DTV based with a full user port and better GFX than a stock C64. Interesting.. I'll be watching this one..

Makes me think, what a shame we will probably never see a AmigaDTV. For one they'd probably never find McBill, if they did this would be the conversation.
