My condolences and most sincere apologies to all our American posters on behalf of the people of Britain for having been responsible for "American Idol"

I think there is plenty of blame to pass around. Only in the USA could there be something as STUPID as American Idol, I'll admit it. The problem is, it isn't just American idiots watching this show. It's idiots worldwide.

I'd rather discharge gun powder in my ears and pour muratic acid in my eyes, than to sit through watching that crap.

Ooops, I better watch who I call idiots. My wife and kids watch it

I'm sorry but the US is not apologizing for David Hasselhoff, I'm sorry but he was a GREAT comedic sidekick for KITT, much better then that Burt Ward was for Batman or Bruce Lee was for the Green Hornet.  It is not his fault that he was overshadowed by the great acting of KITT, he did everything required as a comedic sidekick, get knocked out, get tied up, get kidnapped, get rescued, what more could you want from him???

That's funny! I was thinking about Night Rider when Hasselhoff was mentioned. I never did think of him as a side kick, but actually you are right!

Hmm...  The USA is on decidedly rocky ground with this one.  One one hand we have David Hasselhoff, on the other there's Daisy Duke.

Aaah Daisey Duke. I have her and Bo Derek to thank for letting me know at a very young age that I am most certaily straight :-o
