@Sidman

Lets me say, that both Heretic 2 and Freespace are good
playable on MorphOS (i have both of them here), but there
are some minor glitches.

If Hyperion really wants to bring these games for the
MorphOS platform, they dont need another license.
They just need to do some workarounds on the Amiga version
and the software would be fully supported by AmigaOS
as well as MorphOS. And its still an Amiga Version of
course!

So i think their reason for not supporting MOS has been
anything else...

Hi SidMan,

I didnt blame Hyperion for not doing a native version.
This was exactly not my point (the last part was
pointing at Hyperions statement why they refused to
make this game running perfectly on MorphOS).
I only wanted to say that no other license is
required to make this a morphos game too and rise
the sales. Just a minimal workaround has to be
made for that.

So lets put it together:

Time restaints: Not even a day i guess...

Profit margin: Sell easily dozens initially and
an option for hundreds later on...

Legal Issue: Nothing changes as this remains an
Amiga game...

I have mainly two annoying things, one for each game :-)

In Freespace i sometimes cant press the "next page button" on the
mission briefing (while all others work). I did have it in 2 missions
so far. As this bug was in the first demo too and disappeared in the
4th update for this demo, i think thats a game related issue.

In Heretic 2, i downloaded the available update which integrated the
mouse wheel. The mousewheel is nicely integrated in MorphOS and
its also possible to select it in the game (fe for changing weapons
as usual :) and you can also use it once in the game. Once mean, you
get the second time a "mousewheel unbound" and then nothing anymore.
No idea what causes this actually since it worked with BPPC. Should
note that in general it runs far more stable on my Pegasos than on my
BPPC.

As for your second question, well, there are many possibilities (maybe
its just me who needs some tweaking :). The Emulation in general runs
very fine and i couldnt  encounter similar problems elsewhere so far.

Finally some words on-topic :-)

Big respect to Titan!
I think this game is already looking very nicely (and is nicely
progressing too) but even more important for me is , that
that a lot of work seems to be put in a good gameplay (exactly what i
miss sometimes in fps, most notably quake 3 class as battleing in an
arena without any tactical elements is really lame imo).
So i'm really looking forward to give it a try ;-)
