New user from Germany :)

Hey,

my name is Patrick and I live in western Germany. I'm into Amiga related stuff since I was about 9 years old. Besides Amiga I'm interested in Arcade/Console gaming stuff like SNES/Super Famicom, Mega Drive/Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, Neo Geo, CPS, Caanoo and so on.

When it comes to music I mostly listen to metal/rock/gothic stuff and I played guitar in several metal bands as well.

My Amiga collection so far:

3X Amiga 500
1X Amiga 600H
1X Amiga 2000B
1X Amiga 1200HD (sadly w/o turbocard)

Im unsing this nick for ages. As a matter of fact its kinda Amiga related. My nick in the early internet days was "Chaos Commander" like in one of my favorite games "Space Crusade". But it was too long, so i changed it to Chaos. Chaos was already taken in most forums etc. so it became Chaoz :lol:

Yeah i got it for a week now! I can't compare it to the wiz, cause I don't own one. The general performance is quite good. SNES emus are not perfect so far, but Sega & Mame emulation is great! Kof 98 & Samurai Shodown IV are running really smooth! And you can play ScummVM games via touchscreen but I think that was possible on the Wiz as well. The Caanoo has a bigger screen and more ram than the Wiz so I bought it...Mame games need a lot of ram. And it has a USB host controller, so you can attach USB sticks or gamepads to the Caanoo which is really an advantage! I haven't tried Amiga emultion so far...shame on me :hammer:

My favourite music is Ska, The Specials, Madness and the like, but to be honest I like most types of music Punk, Metal, 60s, 70s, 80s and some 90s stuff, only stuff I can't stand is (C)RAP & Hip Hop and anything from this century (except for Green Day, I like them)...

Oh i like punk/oi as well...mostly german bands. International bands I like in that field: Guttersnipe, Dead Kennedys, Oi Polloi, Oi! Scouts, The Exploited, 4Skins, Uk Decay...maybe too rude for you?! :lol: But I also like some Skatepunk stuff like Millencolin, Satanic Surfers etc.

My brother is really into Ska/Reggae though

I saw RunDMC on their last tour with Aerosmith and Kid Rock. A very cool collaborative event.
I wouldn't actually consider myself a rap fan, but you're right "straight outta compton" is just too cool.

Same here I only like selected rap acts. Mostly late 80s early 90s gangster stuff like NWA, Onyx etc.
