I just installed a preloaded VirtualBox image of AROS just to try, as I have no knowledge or experience with it. I really like it. I don't know any of the requirements to run it on a real Amiga, but since I only have an upgraded A2000 and an A500, I am sure I can't run it on either of those. Too bad that the new Commodore USA folks aren't interested, as I think this would be a good OS for their so called "Amigas". Thanks to those who have worked so hard on it.
I will too praise AROS as most advanced x86 AmigaOS, only one that has Gallium ported as well as Linux-like avail to all. There is even 68k version that you might try on your high end Classic.
CHeck AEROS, mix of AROS and Linux, great idea too!
Well, C=USA announced love for AROS, brought just hate
