What kind of beep are you hearing? If its a single fairly high pitched beep, its indicating that all is well with your configuration. If its a multiple buzzy sounding beep, your BIOS settings may be incorrect, or you have a hardware fault.

Even though you have an A4000, make sure there is room in the Zorro II address space to accommodate the Bridgeboard. Total maximum of 8MB for all Zorro II cards, If you have Zorro II graphics cards and memory expansions that use more than 6MB, you will need to remove one, or set it to use less so as to make room for the Bridgeboard.

Also, as you have an 060, don't forget the cache limitations. Installing MMUlib from Aminet (or built into OS3.2) should take care of that.
