I've not had any luck with IBM drives on an Amiga.
I guess some will work and some won't.
As for the jumpers, usually all you have to set is
address and termination. Trial & Error.

You can try 'HDInstTools' from Aminet. It work
well on most OS's, You just have to set the Icon
information to the name of your SCSI controller.
