SFS or OS 3.9 file sys. question
« on: June 16, 2008, 03:57:49 PM »
I probably should know this .... but .... :-D

What file system does OS 3.9 use ?
And can I install that System on an OS 3.1 install ?
I looked .. where do I find the file system on the
OS 3.9 install disk ?
If its SFS can it be installed over C= FastFileSystem ?
I'm wanting to create an OS 3.1 Dir to run from for older
software compatability but my main Boot Dir is OS 3.9 and
I have a 9 gig HDD, (thats the problem).
I've made the dir and installed OS 3.1. I've made a Boot
floppy that puts me in OS 3.1 in that dir.
Now I need to install a compatable file system that will
allow me to see the whole harddrive.

Any help ?
