Its been a few years since I opened my A3k ....
But if I remember correctly ..these's a mark of
some sort that goes to the center of the MoBo.

Also as I remember it ... you cant hurt the roms
or the MoBo by putting it in wrong. It just wont
boot up. (Seems to me I did that once without damage).

He's refering to the Rom tower in the A3k.
Not an A3k-tower.

I 'KNOW' I installed the chips wrong once in
my A3k. I reinstalled them correctly and the
machine booted just fine.
As to the rom tower orentation, I cant sware to
it but I don't think that will hurt anything if
its wrong either. It just wont boot, Black screen.

If it wern't so much trouble, I would open mine up
to refresh my memory.
