Depending on how much drive space you want/need....
I am using Quantum FireBall 3.2 gig 7200 rpm 50 pin
SCSI drives in my A3k's. They are quiet and fast and
need no adaptors. I personally don't care for Seagate
drives, they are (in my opinion) noisy and harder to
work with.
My drive of choice is the Quantum FireBall.
