A NotePad for OS 3.1 ??

Anyone know of a good notepad for OS 3.1 like OS 3.9
notepad?
I've gone back to OS 3.1 because of the warm-reboot
problem I was having with OS 3.9.
But I really miss the notepad, I used it more than I
realized.
I can't seem to get the OS 3.9 Notepad to work under
OS 3.1 so I'm looking for a good alternative.

Any suggestions (Aminet please)??

I already have CygnusED .. athough an older version.
(It doesn't do HiRes screens.. Bummer)

Anyway CED is more editor than I was looking for.
I found a nice little editor very much like OS 3.9 NotePad
on Aminet... called 'FreeED', does about the same as
NotePad. Good for cutting and pasteing.

I just D/L'ed it and tried it on CygnusED.
This is 'Great'. I hadn't heard of NewMode before
but now, with all the older software I have, it
will get alot of use.
