Dizzy is better played on the ZX Spectrum computers, that is Dizzys' "home" computer really. Even though it was developed and transfered to the Amstrad, hence both ports being similar as always.

The Spectrum versions were the best :-D

I wouldn't really welcome another Dizzy game, as there were far too many to begin with, how many did they make?  :-?

The proper platformers:
Dizzy
Treasure Island Dizzy
Fantasy World Dizzy
Magicland Dizzy
Dizzy - Prince of the Yolkfolk
Spellbound Dizzy
Crystal Kingdom Dizzy

The others:
Fast Food
Kwik Snax
Bubble Dizzy

Prince of the Yolkfolk is one of the best Dizzy games (although it's a bit short) and Spellbound is the biggest Dizzy game so far.  It's a bit of a weird one, they went in a very slightly different way with it.

Crystal Kingdom Dizzy is just utter crap.

I've still got my Speccy +2 (one Amstrad version with a dodgy tape deck and 2 Sincclair versions that are fine :-D )  I've still got boxes full of games :-D

 :-( I AM JEALOUS!

That's one thing I'm damn sure never selling or getting rid of.

I've been a Speccy user since the good old rubber-keyed 48k back in the mid 80s.  The first game we got was meant to be Rapscallion, but the shop gave us Manic Miner instead :-?  My dad had the great idea of trying to copy it before taking it back and getting Rapscallion (possibly my favourite 48k game).  Guess what I was playing while he went back to the shop :-P

Since then my games collection just kept growing and growing.  Pity I had to sell the 48k to buy the +2 though :-(  I really want a 48k again.

Oh, and by the way CU_Amiga, check out this link (for the colourblind people - click me ;-) ) for a list of Dizzy games - official and unofficial.  I was going to copy and paste them here, but I thought the link would be more informative as each game has a seperate page telling you which formats they were on ;-)
