Scotland's life expectancy rate was "a major factor" in it being rated Western Europe's worst-performing small country, the BBC reports.

Aw crap

Mind you, 76.7 is still a good age. The average mean is 78.2 so we're not too far off.

The FSB fingered Glasgow as the "worst performing local authority area in Scotland", coming bottom in the areas of mortality, education, and employment. Willcox described the city's lamentable showing as "deeply troubling".

A bit surprised at that, I thought it would've been Dundee.

Mind you, haven't been to Glasgow for a few years and even then it was only to Ikea.  But next time I'll go to the brewery next door instead :-D

Or was that Edinburgh?

Looking at the regional ranking charts in the pdf - Dundee is 1.05 and Glasgow is a shocking 0.12

Wilse, ever thought about moving? :-P

For the record, I had part of my 21st birthday celebration in Dundee and had a belting night.

When was it and why wasn't I invited? :-P

Ah, I would've been 15.

I ended up on the middle of the Tay Bridge at about four in the morning. We thought it would be nice to, aherm, look at the boats. :-D

That's nothing an older mate was out with his brother getting pissed in the centre in the late 80s.  His brother went to get a taxi home.  A few hours later my mate went home and discovered his brother wasn't home yet.  A good wee while passed and he eventually got home.

He'd ended up in Wormit!  And he couldn't afford the taxi back home so he had to walk it

Later still, I learned how to juggle, strangely enough.

While pissed?

Juggling is quite easy, never tried it drunk though.
