Not strictly true. alt+tab flicks between
anything on the taskbar. All the apps in Office 2003 (any version) are set up to open a new document in a new window that appears on the taskbar.
i.e. if you have two documents open in Word you'll have two Word buttons on the taskbar. Alt+tab would flick between these as if they were seperate programs just like everything else.
Thankfully you can change this option to the old way in the prefs and only have one instance of Word open for 5 documents instead of wasting taskbar space.
