I really wanted to see them live too.  They're live DVD and some bootlegs I've heard have been great...  Ah well...

Never heard anything about him mutilating himself on stage.  Some things did get out of hand during a tour with Manson though - Manson sliced one of his nipples off :-P

They do have older music videos that feature mutilation though (Happiness in Slavery is banned over here for it's highly explicit S&M content).
