From X-ray:

I suspect you are in my age group (I'm 33)

And from Karlos:

I did the test before you and I'm 30.

Brilliant, I feel young again :-D

Well, I can't wait till my metabolism slows down and I get a bit of weight.  I've been a skinny wretch for far too long now :-P

oh, jesus! why is it all the nice, slim guys want to go and get fat???

i'm repulsed! :pissed:

I don't want to get fat... I just want to get a good weight for my size.

I'm 5'9 and 8.5 stone and have been for years.  It's impossible for me to put on any weight.  I never exercise (I walk for about 20 mins to and from a mates house once a week, everybody else lives 2 mins walking distance away).

I'm enjoying it, but at the same time I'd like to put on at least a stone.

I'm skinnier than Marilyn Manson...  Then again, he looks a good couple of inches taller than me too.

Yeah, but there's being too slim.

Let's just say if I lost a stone I'd probably look like the wierd thing in Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy video without the need for make up to make my head look bigger :-P

I'm not exactly healthy either - I've been unable to work for the past 5 years due to a dodgy stomach and a few other things.

Anyway, this thread is about language not me being lanky :-D

@X-ray

It's not a tapeworm of any kind (was checked for them 4ish years ago when this stomache incident started).  I just have a really high metabolism, I've been thin since birth.  Saying that, I was the heaviest out of the three of us :-D

There are reasons contributing to the stomach, like too much acid (which I now have new tablets for, lets these work) and a few other things that I won't go into.  But we're still stumped by the main cause.

@everybody's reaction to X-ray's story

:roflmao:

A 21 piece bucket'o'KFC each night before bed should add a few kilos ;-)

I love KFC, but it doesn't agree with me anymore :-(

Last year I had something from there (can't remember what, but it was a smallish meal) and I was quite ill the next morning.

Tis a bugger as they're much much better than McD or BK.

--edit--

@X-ray

:-o

Sounds really unpleasant!

I must be one of the few ones who don't think your stories are puke inducing :-D

Absolutely no effect here, I'm totally unsqueamish.

I used to be like that, but there are certain medical things I could do without seeing.  Reading about the stuff has never bothered me though :-D

But now, I think I'm getting less squeamish again.
