We don't bother with valentines day at all.  Why should we spend money on each other for a so called "special day" for lovers?

Waste of money if you ask us.  It's not a special day if everybody else does it (no not that... well, okay most often yes that) on that day too?

April 11th is our "anniversary".  That's the only day other than birthday and christmas that we purposely spend some money on each other.

And the best thing is Sioux hates flowers :-D

She's got hayfever and she's got a phobia of bees and wasps.  So anything I get her is great.  Even if it is an album (metal preferrably) or a console game (anything Sega related) or a book (HP Lovecraft) or a DVD (Star Trek, cheap B-movie horrors - absolutely no "womens" or soppy films)... the list goes on.
