Yup, you can do it from the command prompt, but I had problems with that syntax on my XP machine. I had to use something that specifies track numbers. Can't remember the syntax though.

FORMAT A:/N:9/T:80

That comes to mind but I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure (about 95%) that you could password protect the screensavers in 3.1.
