The greatest memories with the Amiga:-)
« on: January 26, 2003, 02:45:03 PM »
I simply miss the old times i had with the Amiga...I remember when i got my first A1200-system back in 1994...What a time it was, and just before Commodore went backrupt...

I remember the times i expanded it even further, first with an 040 CPU, then in tower and finally into a 240Mhz PowerPC 603e accelerator-card with a BlizzardVisionPPC-graphic board...

That were impressive times. I was running games like Doom, Heretic and such..I had a lot of fun playing them. Even that the PCs were slightly more advanced, i didn't mind cause i was crusing with style..I had OS3.9 with Boing Bag 2..A nice setup...I was making music with OctaMED SoundStudio, writing documents in WordWorth...What a breeze it was...So enjoyable..so inspirating...God, what a time!

Now, i look forward to enjoy a new area of fun with my forthcoming A1G4XE-system. One of my greatest plans are to create music on it with the TerraTec 512i Digital PCI-soundcard...I really look forward to that...:-), and emulating the classic Amiga..Oh yeah!

Yaa! I remember when I got my 1st Amiga. It was an A500 "early 90's"
and I did a little proggy to design subwoofer boxes, done in amiga
basic. Imagine my surprise when it wouldn't work when I plugged it in
to my new "sort of" A2000 W/accelerator. Dam that Bill Gates fellow.

Hate Bill Gates....But don't worry. The x86 time of domination is long over..Now a new area has begun...The Amiga's return to power..!

Amiga Power! Here we go again! :-)  :-)  :-D  :-D  :-D
