that's bizarre. in the eight years i've been using AOS4 systems -- including beta testing the X5000 -- i've never seen anything like that. you might consider posting on support.amigaos.net as well, if you haven't already. i'm sorry you're having such issues for what, at least for me, has been a wonderful machine. good luck! :)
