As part of the agreement A-EON will exclusively own the Aladdin4D 68K and PPC source code, domain name, brand and rights for all AmigaOS and related versions including emulation and future MorphOS and AROS ports. Meanwhile DiscreetFX will retain the rights for non-Amiga relatd operating systems....

personally i'm just thrilled with where they're going. development projects in flight from A-EON include libreoffice, octamed soundstudio, personal paint, aladdin4D, amistore, etc., etc. and the best thing is that for most of these software projects, in addition to being developed for next-gen machines, they're keeping stuff updated for AOS3.x machines, too. it's just terrific.
