Id say its more worthy of being called "Next Generation" than the slightly embarrassing AmigaKit effort.
Now that they have finally decided to implement an MMU, it should shut the purists up.

Where did you get information stating that the internals is just the standalone?

The standalone does not achieve up to 800 mips as is stated for the A6000

According to the official Apollo Core documentation https://www.apollo-computer.com/performance.php

The 800 MIPS figure is significantly higher than the actual performance capabilities of the Vampire V4 Standalone.

Sounds like you are misinformed to me , not the first time i might add.

See the internals picture though clearly isnt the standalone.
