External DPS TBC IV install

Ok, so I got an idea that I'm gonna need some help on.
I want to use my DPS TBC IV in conjunction with my DPS PAR card but I am out of slots.
According to the manual the TBC IV only utilizes the ISA slot for power only.  Two additional connections are necessary.  A serial connection to the Amiga which is already an external cable, and a 50 pin ribbon connection from the par to the TBC IV.
I was thinking I could build an external enclosure for the TBC with a ISA plug wired to an external power supply that supplied the correct power the correct ISA slot pins.  I would need to figure out a moderately clean way to pass the 50 pin ribbon connection externally too.
So first off, what do ya'll think?  Do you see any major problems with my plan?
Second, Does anyone know what the pin out for those ISA slots are so I can provide the right voltage to the right pins?

 You have a 4000, right?

I have a 3000.  Not sure if that would work in a 3000 or not, have to look into that. hmmmm.... Dang it Mike, given me another direction.

While there has always been several external box solutions for housing TBC's.
I used a extra 2000 and then there is the DPS ES2200 etc.

I think the issue might be the lenght of 50 pin cable  from the PAR to the TBC.

If I remember correctly...(sigh) DPS included the shorty cable for the install due to signal issues?
I'm looking for my old manual to read up on the question?

They do mention that the 50 pin cable is a shorty.  I assumed it was because the TBCIV and the PAR would normally sit close together and a longer cable was not necessary.  Your right though, it could be that a longer cable here could be a problem with my idea.

On reading the manual, another issue maybe with the ide cable (must be 18 inches or less)

The IDE cable comes off the PAR not the TBC IV.  I would leave the PAR and it's attached IDE drive connected to the PAR inside the Amiga.  It's the TBC IV I was going to move outside.  The idea only seemed feasible because the ISA slot only provided power.

The A4000 HighFlyer case "modification" was designed for this purpose and really no other (as it is a rather ugly when installed -- IMHO).  There are many of them out there that lay unused, unwanted and could be had for "cheap" plus the cost of shipping.

Bit will not work in my a3000, correct?

Sounds like it's time to add another Miggy to the collection.  

Great video of the Take 2 software at Amiwest, BTW!  I just started watching them last night.
