KICKSTART ROMS
« on: November 22, 2004, 06:08:43 PM »
I need some help identifying these chips  please goto

http://www.pvpmedia.com/ROMS.htm

and look at the two JPEGS there.  One is a picture of a Kickstart ROM Switch board and the other is a single chip.  I need to know what actual version of Kickstart these ROM chips are.  I can see that the lower one on the ROM Switch is version 2.04 but I don't know what the other one is.  I suspect it is an even earlier version.  The other chip is labled V 40.63.  I need to know if that is a late enough version to run OS 3.9 or 3.1 on.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks.  That was prety much what I suspected but I just wanted to be sure.  The V40.63 was the one I was most unsure about.
