Get SCSIprefs from Aminet. Check the time out and LUN settings. Long timeout causes very slow boot and LUN takes extra time to scan the SCSI bus. Also, check Hard drive jumper settings for Motor spin delay enable. Also check RDB or use Hdtoolbox to set Last Boot Drive.
